Following interest in forming a Chapter in Iran from several people, please post your questions here and I will make sure they get responded to (if necessary).
This might also stimulate postings from ITIL /ISO20000 practitioners based in Iran.

Regarding the rapid growth of interest in ITIL & ITSM in Iran & as a leading educational institute in here ,We are really interested in having the ITSMF chapter & also the conference in Iran. What should we do? What are the steps we should take? How long does it take? This would really be a good step in improving the professionals' knowledge in this field!

Regarding training centres and examination institutes in Iran: APMG does not have any accredited trainers based in Iran but currently these organisations work with clients around the world so may be able to help:

As far as I know there is no accredited training or exam taking center in Iran for ITIL & ITSM but my institute is interested in becoming one. W are currently working on IT professional courses & ISO courses specially ISO 27001 & ISO 20000. I know that IT professionals will also be interested in participating in a related conference as well.

I'm interested in taking the ITIL courses and taking the exam in Iran...
Please inform me about this matter If u got any new course in Q1 2008, if not I sould attend a class in UAE :-(
