I read that the V3 qualification names were decided by a survey of 'itSMF members and ATOs'. Can anyone please advise how/where/when this was done ? I haven't noticed anything on this site (or the UK itSMF site) along these lines or read comments anywhere else. I would be keen to know who actually participated and what the other options were.
Regards,
Alison

Alison,

The survey was conducted via all of the Examination Institutes who sent out a questionaire asking their Training Providers to respond and also itSMFI who asked the respective Q&C committees within each country's chapters to respond.

A variety of options were put forward for each level however all responders were also free to suggest alternatives.

The itSMF UK Q&C committee responded, these results were collated and discussed by the Qualifications Board and their decision has now been published.

Regards

Rosemary

Hi Alison, I replied with input from itSMF Australia.

The survey was sent to the International Qualification and Certification committee reps.

I polled the Board of itSMF Australia for input but I don't know how the UK input was decided
